TherapyTimes.com Wins Yet Another Award!

I love attending Educational Conferences and the IMDHA's 20th Anniversary Conference was outstanding. In addition to catching up with many old friends, making new friends and attending many excellent presentations, I was designated to accept a Special Award on behalf of TherapyTimes.com.

The IMDHA created this honor to recognize and acknowledge Amy Storer and her TherapyTimes.com team, for their excellence in Educating Therapists about Complementary Therapies. The Award was presented at IMDHA's Awards Banquet on Saturday, October 28th. I will be posting photos and more on this Award when I get back to NYC next week.

And I was having fun before the Conference actually started -- My associate Alan Barsky and I trained and Certified 23 new QUANTUM FOCUSING Coaches at our Pre-Conference Workshop. According to the feedback forms, everyone loved the training and plans on using what they've learned as soon as they get home. Very pleasurable and satisfying indeed!

The fun continued when I was honored with "Life Time Diplomat" status by the IMDHA. In my world, it's like winning an Oscar and I was deeply moved by the honor.

Attendees seemed to be thrilled when it was announced that the IMDHA (International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association) and The International Association of Counselors and Therapists (IACT) will be joining forces, in Jan 2007. Everyone that I talked to about this, believes that this marriage will help upgrade the hypnosis profession, as do I.

And now, it's time to get ready for the two advanced hypnosis trainings that I will be teaching in San Antonio* this weekend and I've got to tell you - I can't wait -- to teach these classes!
