In case you didn't get a chance to attend this year’s American Physical Therapy Association (APTA 2009), held June 11-13, in Baltimore, we’ve decided to bring the conference to you! Here's your chance to see snapshots and on-site interviews with the latest and greatest from this year's conference.

Watch as Nick Scott, spokesman for the Burn Machine and wheelchair bodybuilding competitor, discusses how the company's line of Asymmetrical Barbell Systems intended for burning calories as well as increasing strength and flexibility in those with mobility issues. Watch as Brett Walker, president of JyzeFit discusses Jyze, a new exercise device using a spinning disk with varying levels of resistance to benefit upper body muscles.


In this video, Jeffrey Lutz, CMTPT, discusses the use of Gebauer's Spray and Stretch product with the Spray & Stretch Technique to effectively manage myofascial pain syndromes, trigger points, and restricted motion. Interactive Metronome at CSM 2010
Al Guerra discusses the benefits of the IM Gait Mate, which consists of a wireless shoe insert that is activated when an individuals heel strikes the ground. A constant reference tone can be heard through wireless headphones set to a desired gait speed; additional, real-time auditory feedback is given to direct the user if their speed is too fast, too slow, or right on.
